Olá;
Adquiri um NUVI 1200. Usando os arquivos já incluídos nele, o trajeto era anunciado por voz (tipo 'vire à esquerda na Rua Getúlio Vagas'). Fiz atualização bem sucedida dos POIs pelo Maparadar (através do POI Loader) e esse tipo de mensagem "falada" sobre o trajeto parou de funcionar.
Agradeço por qualquer ajuda nesse sentido.

Encontrei a solução:
A configuração dos GARMIN para a opção "falar nome das ruas" encontra-se no arquivo de vozes: existem vozes que "falam" os nomes das ruas e outras "não falam" e, no NUVI 1200, essas opções estão no menu FERRAMENTAS > DEFINIÇÕES > IDIOMA > selecionar um idioma de voz em que aparece "Dizer nomes das ruas".

Why is my nuvi not speaking street names when navigating?
Garmin automotive GPS devices that have text-to-speech (speak street names) are also loaded with pre-recorded voices that do not speak street names (example: "Turn Right in 500 feet"). If one of these pre-recorded voices has been selected, the voice prompts will not speak street names.
To change the voice prompt to spoken street names:
- Touch Tools (Wrench or Tool Box icon) from the Main Menu
- Touch Settings
- Select Language or Locale
- Touch the Voice language option
- Select a voice option that includes a person's name (ex. Emily) or TTS. Options without a name or the TTS label will say the distance until the next turn, but will not include the street name.
- Select OK
- The device should now speak street names.

-----American English Michelle will not speak street names.
